Obituary of Anna M. Cocozza

Anna M. Cocozza 68 of Atlantic City died on Wednesday October 17th, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Anna was born in Galloway, NJ to Samuel and Anna Thomas. She was one of nine children which included two sisters and six brothers. Anna spent most of her life in Atlantic City, where she met her husband of 48 years, Raymond, and went on to raise their 3 children there together. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and was a fierce competitor at a good game of knock rummy against her brothers-in-law. Anna is predeceased by both of her parents and siblings Caroline, Samuel, Harry, Walter, David and Joseph. She is survived by her sister Dorothy and brother William. Anna will forever be remembered by her husband Raymond Cocozza, her sons Raymond Cocozza (Amanda Gooden), Jonathan Cocozza and daughter Stacy Herrerias (William Herrerias). Anna will also be sadly missed by her three grandchildren Rihanna Cocozza, Ari'Anna Cocozza and Kaiden Herrerias. Services for Anna Cocozza will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit at the Funeral Home from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.
