Obituary of Richard Musto
Richard T. Musto 93 of Ventnor City, NJ passed away March 26, 2018 at home.
Born and raised in Brooklyn and Tottenville, Staten Island, NY, he migrated to the seashore more then 40 years ago. He lived a most interesting life: he enlisted in the US Army during WWII at age 18, as part of "the greatest generation" serving in Normandy, Central Europe, Northern France and the Rhineland; honorably discharged in 1945 to continue his life, he worked as a private detective, he owned race horses and ultimately focused on photography as his profession. He worked most often for the Daily Telegraph paper following Horse racing.
Richard was a proud American and a generous, compassionate and loyal friend to all. He is survived by the Trasferini family with whom he resided. He was loved and will be missed by many.
A graveside Memorial service will be conducted for Richard T. Musto 8:30am Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Route 50, Estell Manor, NJ. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC, AC.
