INGERSOLL, JAMES H.Sr. affectionately known as "Inky", of Leeds Point, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024, at the age of 85.

A lifelong resident of Chelsea Heights, Inky was a proud graduate of Atlantic City High School and the beloved son of the late Harper and Mary Ingersoll.

Inky decicated his professional life to the craft of Ironworking, proudly serving in Local 350. He was known not only for his work but also for his love of the simple joys of life. Inky cherished the camaraderie of Friday night happy hours at the Creek with his close friends, where laughter and stories were always in abundance.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Barbara, and his sister Mary Lou Blatteau (John). He was a loving father to his children; James Ingersoll (Joanne), Teresa Beck (Bart), and Eileen Diacovo (Joe); and a proud grandfather to Daniel, Bart (Melissa), and Caitlin (Rowan). His legacy extends to his great-grandchildren Cage, Barton, and Eleanora, who brought him endless joy in his later years.

Inky's life will be celebrated privately at the convenience of his family, who will honor his wishes of an intimate farewell. Arrangements by the
