JOHN STANLEY BUCCI 3rd.(John John), also known as Buckeye, Booch or Mr. Atlantic City - 59 of Atlantic City, passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2024. John born on July 16, 1964 to his parents John and Philomena Bucci. John touched the hearts of many. A true genuine, kind soul that never forgot your birthday or your name. He was a genius! An avid sports fan of all teams, but especially the Philadelphia Eagles and ACHS Viking Pride! John was retired from the Atlantic City Board of Education after working over 30 years. He also worked for the City of Atlantic City Recreation Department and the Steel Pier in Atlantic City where he worked for over two decades. John was a loyal ACHS sports fan until his passing. He was a true legend! Because of John, we laughed a little harder, cried a little less and smiled a lot more! Because of John we've felt the warmth of a special relationship and the gift of his love. Because of him our world was a happier place. He will be forever missed, especially his hugs!! John is survived by his sister Rosemarie Bucci Gibson along with a host of family; many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends that became family. He is predeceased by his parents John Bucci, Jr. and Philomena Mae Monzo Bucci; his brother Charles Bucci and his sister Barbara Bucci Bailey as well as his nephews William "Buddy" Bailey Jr. and Richard "Zip" Gibson, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for John John Bucci 12:00 Noon Monday, June 10, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Relatives and friends may begin to gather from 10:00am at the church for his viewing. Following Mass, the Rite of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Cross Cemetery 5061 Harding Highway (Route 40) in Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
