PREVITI, ANTHONY JOSEPH 88, of Ventnor City, went home to the Lord on May 14, 2024. Born in Messina, Sicily July 4, 1935. He was raised in Atlantic City (Duck Town) and resided in Ventnor City. Anthony was a Veteran having served in the NJ Army National Guard for six years in the 5th Howitzer Battalion, 112th Artillery Unit and received an Honorable Discharge for his service. Anthony worked as a Commercial Artist for Bell Telephone Yellow Pages. He was a member of the Greater Atlantic City, NJ Barbershop Harmony Society and a member of the Daytona Beach Florida Barbershop Chorus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, clamming, painting, music and entertaining. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Ann Previti of 64 years; children Jodi-Lynn Ann Wetzel and husband Randall Wetzel; Donna Leah Rafter; Anthony Joseph Previti, Jr. and wife MaryAnn Previti; six grandchildren; Laren Acosta, Heather Troutner, Rachel Wetzel, Michael, Leah and Krista Rafter; five great grandchildren, Tyler Wetzel and Braeleigh Wetzel, Giovani, Gianna and Gabriella Accosta. Anthony/Nino loved and cared for his numerous extended family members and friends.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Anthony J.Previti 11:00am Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Michaels Church 10 North Mississippi Avenue in Atlantic City. Relatives and friends may begin to gather at the church for his viewing from 10:00am until Mass at 11:00am. (parking available in the rear of church off Georgia Avenue). The Rite of Committal and Military Honors will be offered at the Mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery 5061 Harding Highway (Route 40) in Mays Landing.
