Obituary of Ellamae Entrekin

ELLAMAE ENTREKIN 65 of Atlantic City passed away suddenly on May 11, 2024. Ellamae was born in Charleston, South Carolina on December 24, 1958, to Joan Patricia Howard and Patrick Lee Entrekin. She lived a life marked by love, resilience, and dedication to her family and community Ellamae had a deep love for butterflies and angels, finding beauty and peace in their presence. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies, often losing herself in captivating stories. Her signature salt and pepper hair and long nails were defining features, and she was known for her warm and welcoming presence. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Patricia Howard; her father, Patrick Lee Entrekin; and her dear sisters Bethann Entrekin, Patricia Lee Entrekin and Rosemarie Tuthill. Ellamae is survived by her loving daughter Catina Entrekin, and her four cherished grandchildren: Jene' Agbevonawo, Jordyn Hayes, Emma Agbotse, and Eliana Agbotse. Ellamae adored spending time with her grandchildren, often spoiling them with love and affection. They were the light of her life, and she took great pride in their accomplishments and joys. Ellamae will be remembered for her kindness, her strong spirit, and the unwavering love she gave to those around her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held to Honor and Celebrate Ellamae's life at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City ,NJ at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2024. Relatives and friends may begin to gather from 12Noon.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support her immediate family members during this difficult time.
