Steven John Hagmaier- 68, of Atlantic City passed away Sunday April 7, 2024. Steve was born and raised in Atlantic City, where he spent his formative years attending Star of the Sea Grammar School and Holy Spirit High School. It was during this time that he crossed paths with his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Patricia Pasquale Hagmaier, who he was married to for 46 years. Steve's dedication to hard work was evident throughout his career, starting as an Atlantic City lifeguard and later serving in the Atlantic City Fire Department, Atlantic City Police Department, and finally as a member of Teamsters Local 331.

Steve was predeceased by his parents William J. Hagmaier Jr. and Donna Lee Wise Hagmaier Ferry, stepfather William "Bud" Ferry and brother Michael Joseph Hagmaier. He is survived by, and will be deeply missed by, his wife Patricia Pasquale Hagmaier, his sister Donna Sue Hagmaier Hanlin (Bud), stepsister Patty Ferry and stepbrothers William "Woody" Ferry and Paul Ferry.

Steve was a proud father to his three children: Bill (Josephine), Nick (Heather) and Kate (Mike). Steve adored his four grandchildren: Hunter, Billy, Mackenzie and Hudson Steven, along with his brothers-in-law (Jim, Ron, Frankie) and sisters-in-law (Linda, Vicky, Deirdre) and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Steven John Hagmaier 11:00am Wednesday April 17, 2024, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Relatives and friends may begin to gather at the Church from 9:00am until Mass at 11:00am. The Rite of Committal will be offered at the Atlantic City Cemetery, off Route 9 in Pleasantville, NJ following Mass. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC/AC (gormleyfuneralhomellc.com).
