James (Jim) Bell, 69 of Galloway, NJ and Sebastian. FL., passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jim grew up in Atlantic City and Brigantine and then went on to serve his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Oriskany. Jim then served 30 years with the Atlantic City Police Department. Jim's hobies includedd sports and his favorite pastime - gambling. He was a proud member of the AL-KI Club and the Inlet Social Club both of Atlantic City. Jim also enjoyed feeding the cats underneath the boardwalk at Kentucky Avenue. Jim is predeceased by his Father Joseph and his Mother Leanora (Gualteri) Bell. He is survived by the love of his life Roseann Rosa, his children Christina (Rafael) Roman, Jamie (Jack) Foster, and James Bell Jr. Jim is also survived by his sisters Kathleen (Bill) Wineland, Terry (Ron) Kromenacker, and Donna Bell; his brothers Joseph (Denise), Bill (Trish), Michael (Erika), and Robert (Colleen); grandchildren Arianna, Brianna, Karlie, Blake, and Eva. Also many nieces and nephews. Jim is also predeceased by his two favorite cats - Freddie and Shadow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Jim Bell 11:00am Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 331 8th St. South, Brigantine, NJ 08203. Relatives and friends may begin to gather at the Church from 9:30am. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that you kindly donate to Tunnels of Towers Foundations at T2T.org. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC/AC.
