Obituary of Dolores Mary Wagner

Mary "Dolores" Wagner, 96, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2023. She leaves behind her son, William F. Wagner III (Elizabeth "Rusti"); her granddaughters Susan Slusarski (Steve), Lindsay Brown (Robert); Great Grandsons Stephen "Steve'O" Slusarski, Henrik Brown and Magnus Brown; and a large loving extended family. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 65 years, William F. Wagner Jr.; parents Russell and Mary Somers; and many beloved family members and friends. Dolores worked as an operator for Bell Atlantic and at the Atlantic City Race Track for years, while also keeping the books for the family-run business, William F. Wagner and Sons carpentry. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey for over seventy years, and has been a sweet grandmother to so many more than just her own grandchildren. Dolores and her husband, Bill, were longtime members of the Harvey Wagner Memorial Chapel in Ventnor, NJ. They had a family and so many cherished life-long friends that loved them dearly. Dolores and Bill lived life to fullest—full of family, full of laughter, and full of love. And, now, they are once again inseparable. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, 9-10 a.m. at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 207 Northfield Ave., Northfield, with a short service to follow. Interment will then take place at Zion Cemetery 651 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
