MARY FRANCES PIROLLI, 96 years old, of Ventnor NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mary was born on March 3, 1927 to Guiseppe and Antonina (Mormino) Ventura in Naso, Sicily. Mary attended St. Michael' s Grammar School and Atlantic City High School. She worked many years for the Atlantic City Convention Bureau. Mary enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and going to the beach. She was famous for her chicken soup. Mary had a strong Catholic faith. She loved the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent. Mary was predeceased by her parents, husband Peter, siblings Concetta Conner and Anthony Ventura, great niece Amanda Devlin. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Pirolli, sister-in-law Frances Ventura, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends and Emily the family cat. The family would like to thank Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the care she was given these past years, especially all her nurses and aides that became her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Mary Frances Pirolli 11:00am Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Holy Trinity Parish St. James Church Campus 6415 Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor, NJ. Relatives and friends may begin to gather from 10:00am at the Church. The Rite of Committal will be offered at the Atlantic City Cemetery, Route 9 in Pleasantville, following Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Regional School, 5809 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
