Eleftherios "Lefty" Gaitanos 84 of Margate, NJ passed away on June 26, 2023 with his family at his side.

Born and raised in Rhodes, Greece, and as a young man Lefty joined the Greek Navy. He later married Leona Bigras in Canada. They had two children; Katherine Gaitanos Connor and Christopher Spiros Gaitanos.

Lefty and his family moved to Somers Point, NJ where he would live the majority of his life. He worked as a Maintenance Manager for Holy Trinity Parish -Blessed Sacrament Church.

Lefty enjoyed his hobbies of gardening and fishing.

He is predeceased by his parents Ourania Philipou and Spiros Gaitanos.

Services for Lefty Gaitanos are scheduled for 11:00am MONDAY JULY 3,2023, at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to call on his family from 10:00am at the Funeral Home.
