Monica Lee Nicholson 29 of Ventnor City, passed away on June 1, 2023 in Atlantic City, NJ after a hard fought battle with endocarditis.

Monica was born September 22, 1993 in Atlantic City to Ted and Dorreen Nicholson (Noecker). Monica graduated from Ventnor Middle School and later attended Atlantic City High School. She lived in Margate, NJ in 1993 and then briefly lived in Somers Point in 1994 and 1995, moving back to Margate in 1996 and 1997 before settling down in Ventnor for the remainder of her childhood and early adult years.

Monica was always a hard worker sometimes holding 2 waitressing jobs at once. She was always very active- enjoying playing softball, boxing and swimming just to name a few. The most important thing to Monica was family and friends - she truly had a heart of gold. It didn't matter if you were family, a friend or someone she just met -in a few minutes she would have everyone laughing and having fun! She was kind, caring and willing to help anyone in need. There are no words to express how much we will miss looking into her big bright beautiful blue eyes and seeing her beautiful smile,

Monica is predeceased by her mother Dorreen Nicholson (Noecker) and her father Ted Nicholson. She is survived by her brother Ted, brother Kyle (Lili); sister Stacy (Carl), and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral Services for Monica will be held 11:00am Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Margate Community Church 8900 Ventnor Avenue, Margate City, NJ. Relatives and friends may meet with her family from 10:30am at the church.
