Obituary of Beverly A. Tizzano

Please share a memory of Beverly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beverly (Argus) Tizzano 73 of Margate City, passed away Sunday, May 28 at home holding the hand of her beloved husband Ben. Beverly recently retired as a valued member of the CRDA staff where she proudly served, in numerous capacities for 52 years. Her services there were so valued that she was recognized by the Governor in a touching resolution. Beverly had been battling multiple cancers for nearly 20 years. All the while proving to be more than a match for the disease. She lived fearlessly with a great passion for every moment of life. Her fondest memories were those times spent on the boat with her husband, Ben, the love of her life. She loved to travel, from cross country treks with Paula Jo to the many trips she made with Ben, she was always up for a new adventure. Beverly was the matriarch of her family. Ever present at every affair and always ready with a smile and hug. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially at Craig's deck overlooking the bay. Beverly thoroughly enjoyed being the adopted mother of all her son, Patrick's friends. Then happily continued the role with her Granddaughter Angelina's crew. She was the pillar her whole family leaned upon for support and guidance. Beverly's generosity, caring and compassion were boundless and made her a valued addition to so many lives. If there ever was an example of courage, and the ability to overcome, seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Beverly certainly was it. She was deeply loved thoroughly admired, and will be sadly missed by many. Beverly is survived by her beloved husband Benedict Tizzano, her sons Craig Argus, and his wife, Lydia, Patrick Argus and his wife, Violet; granddaughter, Angelina Argus; Mother-in-law Fran Tizzano; Sister-in-law Paula Jo King (George); brothers-in-law Craig Argus, Lester Argus (Jennifer), Rusty Argus (Nanette) and Joseph Tizzano (Carol); Nephews Ron and Frank Tizzano; cousins Brian Thomas (Jill), Ginger O'Neill, Cindy Di'Napoli (John) and countless extended family.
