My memory of Billie was when I would babysit for Freddy. She had the absolute foulest mouth i had ever heard. I was shocked that a mother would speak like that in front of her child. Got to think truck drivers would even blush when they heard her. Everything was f’ing this and f’ing that. I remember thinking, how can someone so pretty talk like a drunken sailor. Glad to hear she may have acquired a little class and civility and did some good things in her life after all.

So Doll, …I’m sorry I never reconnected after moving..I can’t believe you left! We certainly had good times, sometimes not, but we made it thru..I must say you’re boys were your life..you worked hard, and everything was for them! You were the Yard sale queen..taught me the art of the deal!!
We worked at Resorts, shopped yard sales and You always gave me pointers on painting ..gardening too! I started my day with coffee an a morning greeting… Hi Doll !

I remember walking around the Chelsea Heights neighborhoods when we were young and how you always held your head high and towered over us. I will miss our conversations. You loved life, your boys and your grandchildren and I will forever cherish the Nativity you sent me. Fly high my friend.

Billie you asked me a couple weeks ago what I would do when you were gone & I choked up. You wanted no tears but I haven't stopped crying. We talked 2 or 3 times daily about many subjects which we didn't always agree on. You were my crutch when Rob passed and got me through many meltdowns. You had a heart of gold. I cherish our strong friendship. I love you. RIP until we meet again.

To the Cress & Herbert Family - Sorry to hear of the passing of Billieann. I met Billieann, when I was younger. Her parents & Nancy were the nicest people.
I lived a little while, with Billieann, in her little house. I also knew Nancy, through my aunt, because she had a horse, where my cousin put her horse, also. Her dad, hired my husband, Steve, to paint the outside her house. Mr. Gorey, also got me a job at the First National Bank, on Arkansas Ave. Years later, when our children grew up, we reconnected. My daughter, Stacie, lived, with her a little while, also. Billieann was a hard worker, helping many, fixing up projects, gardener & caretaker for her father, for many years. May God bless you all in this time of need.

Well, Billieann, it’s been a rough couple years, I I loved our conversations and insight into life as we know it. You’re a good woman, a hard worker, and all you wanted to do was take care of everyone else, often neglecting yourself. I am so sorry you suffered so long. May you rest in peace forever until we can talk again! I am grateful that your sons were beside you through the end. Wish I could have been there to express my deep condolences to your family!
