Dawn Michele Spencer 56, of Egg Harbor City, born on August 12, 1966 in Trenton, NJ to Lorraine Spencer and the late Marshall Robert Handon, Jr. She peacefully passed away in her home in the early morning hours of Friday, April 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Dawn was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1984. Dawn was a hard worker and throughout her career she held multiple positions and was currently working for Billows Electric Supply in Pleasantville, NJ and enjoyed working for that business. She was particularly proud that she had purchased her home and so proud of that accomplishment. She was a caring partner, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and will always be loved and forever remembered. Dawn lived a full and warm life filled with joy. She was loved and respected by many and marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved to have a good time and her prensence was infectious. She especially loved her dogs and they certainly loved her. She enjoyed going out with friends, living life to the fullest and had a passion for her grandchildren who she loved deeply. Dawn was predeceased by her father Marshall Robert Handon, Jr.; her uncle Gordon T. Washington; sister MarVette Handon Hasty; brother Marshall Carter III; her granddaughter Zoey Shy'an Ince and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She leaves to cherish great memories, her loving mother Lorraine Anita Spencer; her companion Anthony Hill; two children - Danielle Chimene Spencer and Ashley Monet Spencer; her grandchildren Dakarai Nasir Spencer, Amari Michele Spencer and Andre Malaki Spencer as well as her poodles Chevy and Diamond.
