Alice D'Amico 87 of Atlantic City, died peacefully in the arms of her daughter Michele at the AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City on January 16, 2018. She was born and raised in Atlantic City. Alice was the daughter of the late John and Louise (nee Bordonaro) Lonergan. She graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1947. While there she met her future husband Joseph "Joe Ace" D'Amico. They married in 1951 in Atlantic City, where they raised their family. To Alice, family was everything. And anyone who needed a little "Alice Kindness" was always welcome. Alice was employed with Henry G. Broome Jr. Esq., (Bud and Pat) for over 40 years until the office closed. Alice is predeceased by her parents, husband Joseph and son Joey. She is survived by daughter Michele D'Amico, son Eddie D'Amico (Dana DeMone), brother Tinker Lonergan (Dave Johnson) and by her greatest joy, granddaughter Dana D'Amico and her husband Aaron. Alice is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends. The family would like to personally thank Dr. Robert Lipshutz, his nurse Tamika and all the staff at AtlantiCare. A Memorial Mass for Alice D'Amico will be Celebrated 12:00 Noon Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City. Friends may call at the church from 11am. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to: St. Judes Research Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or The Humane Society of Atlantic County 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City NJ 08401.
