Maureen (Mary) Higgins 96 of Pleasantville, formerly of Atlantic City, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022 at Villa Raffaella in Pleasantville.
Mary was a registered nurse at Atlantic City Hospital and several local nursing homes before her retirement. She loved to spend time with her family around a great home cooked meal that she prepared.
Mary is predeceased by her husband James, daughters Maureen Whittaker and Eileen Higgins, son James Higgins, son-in-law Thomas Mossman, and grandson Christopher Miller. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Miller (Daniel) and Bridget Mossman; grandson Matthew Miller (Kyle); granddaughter-in-law Jessica Miller; great-grandson Connor Miller, and many other loving relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Maureen Mary Higgins 11:00am Friday, November 4, 2022 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 10:00am until
11:00am. The Rite of Committal will be offered at Holy Cross Cemetery 5061 Harding Highway (Route 40) in Mays Landing, NJ 08330, following Mass.
