Obituary of Peter E. Fisher

Peter Fisher (Pete) 67 of Atlantic City, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2022. Pete was born on February 23, 1955 in Camden, NJ to Earl and Regina (nee Fabey) Fisher. He moved to Atlantic City in 1962 and grew up in the Venice Park section where he remained a resident for 60 years. Pete graduated from Holy Spirit High School in 1974. He had worked as a Brigantine Lifeguard for 6 years and then worked for the A.C. Utilities Authority until retirement. Pete was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent many hours on the water, duck hunting and fishing on The Fishboat. While he was from Atlantic City, he enjoyed spending time in Brigantine with his friends. Peter is predeceased by his parents Earl and Regina Fisher; his aunt, Sister Mary Peter Fabey and his nephew Andrew. He is survived by his brother Jim (Maryalyce) and niece Katie (Nick Price) and many friends and relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Peter Fisher 11:00am Monday, July 25, 2022 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine R.C. Church, Tennessee and Pacific Avenues in Atlantic City. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family from 10:00am at the Church. The Rite of Committal will be offered at Holy Cross Cemetery, Route 40 in Mays Landing, following Mass.
