Obituary of Ellen Marie Rossetti

Ellen Marie Rossetti (nee Massimiano) 64 of Galloway Township, born April 24, 1958 she passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. She was originally from Yeadon, PA. and Absecon, NJ. Ellen's career in Atlantic City's Casinos spanned over 30 years, in positions ranging from Security Guard at Harrah's - to at her peak- the Director of Player Development at the Trump Castle. She was known for her kindness, intellect, quick wit, and compassionate spirit. She made friends wherever she went. Ellen had a love of music and in her youth played and sang at the first guitar Masses held at St. Louis Church in Yeadon, PA. She considered herself a "foodie", and enjoyed eating fine food as much as she enjoyed feeding people; it was her love language. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Rossetti, Ellen is also predeceased by her parents Richard and Audrey Massimiano and sister Carol. She is the loving mother of and survived by Carolyn Rossetti (future son-in-law Joe Callahan) of Galloway; cherished sister to Marion Massimiano Ball (Jay) of Ventnor, NJ; and Anne Massimiano Simone (Jim) of Huntingdon Valley, PA; will be deeply missed by niece Gianna Simone; nephews James and Richard Simone; companion Anthony Growalt of Galloway, NJ; along with many loving cousins and dear friends. All are invited to Services for Ellen Marie Rossetti Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City beginning with calling at the Funeral Home from 10am-12:00 noon and concluding with a Prayer Service at 12:00pm.
