Obituary of Uliana Lillian Cutugno
ULIANA Riccardi (Lillian) Cutugno 90, of Ventnor, passed away on Thursday, June 23rd after a long battle with Cancer. Born in Philadelphia on March 15th 1932, Mrs. Cutugno moved to the Atlantic City area in the mid 50's where she met her husband, the legendary Joe Cutugno, who she married in 1955. Lillian and Joe began their life together on Florida Avenue in Atlantic City before moving briefly to Margate, and settling in Ventnor Heights, where they lived for 45 years. Mrs. Cutugno worked at several different places and jobs over the years, including the old Food Fair, Two Guys, Guarantee Bank, Advest Financial, Resorts International and Trump Plaza Casinos. She loved sports and was an avid Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies fan who never missed an Eagles game. She was her happiest in front of the TV on Sunday watching her beloved Eagles. She also spent much of her time in her later years at the casino playing her favorite slot machine and then playing on line at home. Lillian is predeceased by her husband of what would be 67 years, Joe Cutugno; 2 sisters, Angie Dinucci, Rose Lerro and her brother, Tony Sansone. She leaves behind 3 daughters, her long time care giver, best friend and roommate Toni Cutugno, Josie Scandone, Angie Mason, and her beloved son Kenny Cutugno (Sue); 6 Grandchildren, Michael Salway, Lee Salway, Brittany Feldman, Sam Feldman, Joe Cutugno, Lillie Cutugno, and 6 Great Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Uliana Cutugno 10:00am Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. Michaels Church 10 North Mississippi Avenue, Atlantic City. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 9:00am. (parking is available behind the church off Georgia Avenue).
