Marlene L. Hastings 80 of Atlantic City, passed away November 22, 2021 at home with her companion at her side. Marlene was born May 6, 1941 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and raised in Easton, MA. and was a member of the Grange (National Grange of the order of Patrons of Husbandry). She was awarded 2 medals from the Geange for which she was very proud. Marlene moved to Atlantic City in 1992 and entered the Food and Beverage Industry. She was Manager of 2 fast food restaurants before being hired as a pantry worker in Caesars where she worked until retiring. Marlene was a lover and rescuer of animals - a pass time to which she was dedicated. She also loved watching sports - her favorites teams were the Eagles, the Celtics and the Red Sox (and the Patriots when they didn't cheat!). She was an avid bowler and won a bowling trophy. Marlene had a big heart and a forgiving nature and will be sadly missed. She is predeceased by her father Richard Green. Surviving her are 3 daughters; Sandy, Lisa and Kelly; a son Rick and long time companion Sheila Hamel. Her wish was to be laid to rest on a farm in Massachusetts.
