Obituary of Robert D. Shipley

Robert D. Shipley, devoted partner of Richard Murawski, died unexpectedly on November 26, 2017 at the age of 54. Robert, loving son of the late Walter and Eva Shipley (nee Norris), dear brother of Patricia Wilson, Susan Varholy, Mary (Rusty) Wallace, Deborah Huckeba, Nancy Hevey, Brian Shipley, Joseph Shipley and the late Stephen Shipley is survived by 15 nieces and nephews, in-laws and their families. Robert worked as an IT specialist in Philadelphia, but was a long-time resident of Baltimore. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends with whom he enjoyed spending time at his vacation home on the Jersey Shore. A Mass of Christian Burial wase celebrated at St. Clement Church 1212 Chesaco Ave., Baltimore, MD 21237 on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 A.M. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alley Cat Allies or the American Heart Association.
