Obituary of Star Wardell

Star Wardell, 61 of Egg Harbor Township, suddenly passed away on July 27, 2021, when tragically struck by an auto. Born in Mount Holly, NJ, she was a fellow resident of Ventnor for over 20 years and spent the last 30 years of her days bringing laughter and joy to those in Egg Harbor Township. Star loved spending time with her beautiful family, caring for and sharing her love of animals, and bringing about a positive outlook to every situation. Star was not only known for being a great partner, mother, and caretaker but for her kindness, wholesomeness, and uplifting spirit as well. Star is predeceased by her father, Anthony Jano and her brothers, Jimmy and Tony. Star is survived by the love of her life, George, along with her children; sons Steven, Scott, George and Tony; and her beautiful daughter-in-law, Marlo, her mother, Beverly Jano, as well by her sisters, Cindy, and Carol. Star loved her family deeply, and her warm presence will be missed by all. Funeral Services for Star will be held 11:00am Tuesday, August 3rd, at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401.
