Obituary of Angel R. Martinez

Angel Martinez 90, of Ventnor, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2019. Loving father, grandfather, and friend. Angel was born and raised in Santa Maria Bulacan, Philippines. Working as a tailor though out his finest years, he made many friends and acquaintances. He lived long and fulfilling life. He was always a caretaker by heart. taking care of his family, and wife Estela throughout their long lasting marriage, up until her passing in 1990. He then came to the USA to cfare for, and raise his grandchildren. He is survived by his four loving daughters; Imelda and husband Edward Guerra of Little Ferry, NJ, Estelita Bean his sole caregiver, of Ventnor, Maria "Tess" and husband Reuben Castillo of Canada, and Cecilia of the Philippines. He will be especially missed by his grandchildren Kimberly Allen and Alyssa Bean of Ventnor, Gio and Raji Castillo of Canada, his grandchildren in the Philippines, and his great-grandchildren Michael Rosenfeld and Abdul Cunningham Jr. of Ventnor. He touched many people including the great nurses and staff at Our Lady's Care Center of Pleasantville, ACMC, and AtlantiCare Hospice care, who gently cared for him in his final days. Funeral Services for Angel Martinez will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 9. 2019 at the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Relatives and friend are invited to his viewing from 11:00am at the Funeral Home LLC
